Foundation Seeks Donations For Rummage Sale

The EXCEL Foundation needs donations for its annual “World’s Greatest Rummage Sale” education fund-raiser.

The sale, scheduled for May 13, also includes food, entertainment and prize drawings.

This morning, and every Saturday morning until the sale, a truck donated by Jacklin Seed Co. will collect donations in the Kmart parking lot in Coeur d’Alene.

In Hayden Lake, donations can be taken to Storage World, 112 W. Honeysuckle Ave. on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon. Donations are tax deductible.

EXCEL stands for Extras to Create Excellence in Learning. The foundation provides grants to teachers in the Coeur d’Alene School District for teaching tools and programs.
