Virginia Berreth Hauser Lake, Idaho
Service for Virginia Gail Berreth, rental manager, is set for 1 p.m. Tuesday at New Life Community Church in Rathdrum, Idaho. Burial will follow at Pinegrove Cemetery in Rathdrum. English Funeral Chapel of Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Berreth, 51, died Thursday at Kootenai Medical Center.
She was born in 1943 in Lindsay, Okla. She moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1968 and then to Hauser Lake.
In 1977 she married Larry Berreth in Pinehurst, Idaho.
She was a member of New Life Community Church.
Survivors include her husband, at home; three daughters, Debbie Sheaffer of Rathdrum, and Barbara and Sharlene Sheaffer of Hauser Lake; two stepdaughters, Diane Gonzales of Hollister, Calif., and Melody James of San Jose, Calif.; one stepson, Gary Berreth of Hauser Lake; one sister, Linda Hamstead of Marlow, Okla.; and six grandchildren.

Alice Tuveson Silverton, Idaho
Private family service will be held for Alice Norma Tuveson, a North Idaho native, who died Friday at Silver Wood Good Samaritan Center in Silverton. Shoshone Funeral Service and Crematory of Wallace is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Tuveson, 74, was born in Kellogg.
She graduated from Kellogg High School and from beauty school.
She married Mark Tuveson in 1941 in Kellogg. He died in 1989.
Mrs. Tuveson was a hairdresser and had worked as a teacher’s aide for the Wallace School District.
Mrs. Tuveson and her husband owned Mark’s Texaco in Kellogg for many years.
She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include one son, John Tuveson of Novato, Calif.; one daughter, Marsha Lilienkamp of Wallace; one sister, Lois Cote, of Danville, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Mary Paist Spokane
Service for Mary Frances Paist, 87, is planned for 1 p.m. today at Riplinger Funeral Home with burial at Riverside Memorial Park.
Mrs. Paist, who was born in Livingston, Mont., died Friday.
She had lived in Spokane for the past 50 years and had been a sales clerk at The Crescent and Hillyard Variety.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Her husband, Virgil, died in 1960.
She is survived by one daughter, Delores Mantese of Colbert; one son, Harry Paist of Spokane; three sisters, Betty Kost of Missoula, Anna Rose Adams of Livingston and Helen Buchedorf of Casper, Wyo.; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Hazel Mosher Spokane
Memorial service for Hazel E. Mosher, homemaker, is set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Newport, Wash. Inurnment will follow at the Newport Cemetery. Sherman and Knapp Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Mosher, 80, who died Thursday in Spokane, was born in 1915 in Sagle, Idaho.
In 1933 she married Emmett Mosher in Thompson Falls, Mont. He died in 1970.
She was a member of the Newport First Baptist Church.
She moved to Newport in 1988 and to Spokane in 1993.
Survivors include three sons, Jesse Mosher of Hudson, Colo., Tommy Mosher of Colbert and Clair Mosher of Cedar Springs, Mich.; two daughters, Kathy MacArthur of Cusick, Wash., and Janine Craig of Mead; two brothers, Thomas Craig of Sandpoint and James Craig of Oldtown, Idaho; 16 grandchildren and 32 greatgrandchildren.

Eve Whisler Spokane
Memorial service for Eve (Budiselic) Whisler, 76, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Church of the Open Bible. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South is in charge of cremation.
Mrs. Whisler, who was born in Ronald, Wash., died Thursday.
She had lived in Spokane for 21 years and had worked as a waitress.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bob Whisler; one son, Don Whisler of Chattaroy; two sisters, Mary Burchak of Yakima and Stephanie Bell of Seattle; one brother, John Budiselic of Yakima; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Esther Heimark Spokane
Service for Esther L. Heimark, 81, is set for 2 p.m. today at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Mrs. Heimark, who died Wednesday, was born in Warwick, N.D.
A 49-year Spokane resident, Mrs. Heimark taught school in Spokane from 1946 until 1974.
She was a member of Central Lutheran Church and the Corbin Park Senior Center. She golfed with the Nine-hole group at Wandermere.
She is survived by one brother, Henry Heimark of San Carlos, Calif.
Bernice (Vosahlo) Boyer Spokane
Memorial service for Bernice G. (Vosahlo) Boyer, 83, is set for 7 p.m. today at Riplinger Funeral Home.
Born in Troy, Kan., Mrs. Boyer died Saturday.
She had lived in Spokane for 81 years and was a cook for SAGA foods at Gonzaga University.
She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and the Greater Spokane Organ Club.
She is survived by one daughter, Delores McDowell; her companion, Charles Hardin; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mae McGonigle Spokane
Funeral Mass for Mae B. McGonigle, 80, will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs McGonigle, who died Thursday, was born in Harrington, Wash.
A 45-year Spokane resident, Mrs. McGonigle had worked for Pacific Northwest Bell in Portland prior to moving to Spokane.
She had been a member of the Spokane Humane Society since 1974 and served on the board of directors as well as being a public-service announcer for the group. She was also a member of St. Augustine Parish.
Her husband, James, died in 1945.
She is survived by numerous cousins, and sisters-in-law.

Donald Kroneman Spokane
Service for Donald C. Kroneman, 62, will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-North. Burial will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Mr. Kroneman died Saturday. He was born in Omak, Wash.
He had served in the Air Force and worked with the Army Corps of Engineers and for the Bonneville Power Administration for 35 years. He retired in 1994.
Mr. Kroneman was a member of Westside Church of the Nazarene and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Wanda Kroneman; three daughters, Cindy Devary of College Place, Wash., Lori Knutsen of Spokane and Julie Kroneman of Puyallup, Wash.; one sister, Beth Christoph of Quartzsite, Ariz.; one brother, John Kroneman of Tacoma; and five grandchildren.

Bernice Gallaher Spokane
Private service was held for Bernice E. Gallaher, 62.
Born in Wenatchee, Mrs. Gallaher died Thursday.
She assisted her husband part time in his upholstery business, Gallaher’s Upholstery.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Rex Gallaher; one son, Scott Gallaher of Spokane; four daughters, Paula Anderson of Kent, Wash., and Lori Daisley, Michele Follger and Mary Ann Gallaher, all of Spokane; two sisters, Marian Porter of East Wenatchee, Wash., and Mary Lou Cordell of Entiat, Wash.; and six grandchildren.

Edna Gillis Spokane
At her request, no service will be held for Edna H. Gillis, 90. Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A homemaker and a lifetime Spokane resident, Mrs. Gillis died Friday.
She is survived by two daughters, Joann Redlin and Jan Russell, both of Spokane; two sisters, Mildred Allgaier of Spokane and Amanda Bleck of Tacoma; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Elsie Ward Post Falls
At her request, no service will be held for Elsie M. Ward, 85. Thornhill Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ward died Thursday.
She was born in Ontanagan, Mich., where she graduated from high school.
She worked as a secretary for the King County sheriff in the 1950s.
Mrs. Ward and her husband, Kenneth, moved to Post Falls from Arizona to retire in 1973.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years; two sons, Jim and Dennis Striker, both of Wallace; one daughter, Fran Rickers of Northport, Wash.; and numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Arne Borg Cheney
Service for Arne Borg, 65, will be at 11 a.m. today at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Spokane. Cheney Funeral Chapel is in charge of cremation.
Mr. Borg died Thursday at home.
He was born in North Bend, Wash.
Mr. Borg retired in 1986. He had worked for 30 years as curriculum manager at the Air Force Survival School.
He was a member of the Episcopal Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Eagles Lodge 2 and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, and was a 32rd-degree Mason.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carol Borg; sons, Lars Borg of Rochester, N.Y., and Karl Borg of Hillsboro, Ore.; his father, Otto Borg of North Bend; one sister, Doris Hendricks of Elma, Wash.; and five grandchildren.
Dorothy Wise Spokane
Memorial service for Dorothy Eleanor (Maxfield) Wise, 80, was Saturday at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home with private inurnment.
Mrs. Wise, a 30-year Spokane resident, died Wednesday.
She was born in Spokane.
Mrs. Wise was a champion billiards player and held the Women’s National Billiards crown from 1972 through 1979. She is a member of the Billiards Hall of Fame.
She is survived by two daughters, Lenore Lenz of Spokane and Lorraine Tew of Metaline Falls, Wash.; one son, William “Moon” Botelho of Sacramento, Calif.; one sister, Verla Tipke of Spokane; one brother, Dick Maxfield of Seattle; and two grandsons.

Alice Montgomery Spokane

A 54-year Spokane resident, Mrs. Montgomery died Friday.
She was born in Bismarck, N.D.
She had worked in the kitchen at Northcrest Convalescent Center for 25 years.
Her husband, Ronald Montgomery, died in 1983.
She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Hill, one son, Rick Montgomery, one brother, Sonny Putman, and three sisters, Georgia Knowles, Mary Johnson and Luella Crisler, all of Spokane; and five grandchildren.
