UI Faculty Get 5 Percent Raise

Faculty members at the University of Idaho have been told the administration will reallocate money to fund the full 5 percent state employee pay raise pushed by Gov. Phil Batt.

The percentage of salary increases for university administrators will not be as high as originally planned, Provost John Yost told the Faculty Council Tuesday. The difference will bolster the salaries of faculty members.
