Garden Retains Tourney

The final four of the pre- and post-season National Invitation Tournaments will be held at Madison Square Garden for at least two more years.

The arena and the five-school association that runs the tournaments have reached agreement on a multiyear deal keeping the semifinals and finals of both tournaments at the Garden.

The announcement clears up speculation that the tournament would be relocated. When pairings for the Pre-Season NIT were announced in June, no site was listed for the final two rounds.
