Seven-Year Sentence For Tavern Break-In
A man accused of breaking into a a tavern could spend up to seven years in prison, a judge has ordered.
Judge James Judd sentenced Dennis Morency, 44, Coeur d’Alene, for felony forgery and two charges of burglary.
Morency will be eligible for parole after 3 years.
Kootenai County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Morency in December after he broke into the Pub 41 tavern on state Highway 41. Deputies used a sheriff’s dog to capture the man after he refused to come out of the building for 90 minutes.
