Parking Restricted During Project

Parking restrictions will be in effect for downtown Sandpoint while the Idaho Department of Transportation completes a repaving project.

There will be no parking from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. on signed areas along Pine, First, Cedar and Fifth streets.

Crews are doing most of the paving project at night so traffic is not snarled along the U.S. Highway 95 corridor through Sandpoint.

The project will smooth rutted, cracked and pothole-filled streets in the downtown core and is expected to take two weeks to complete. , DataTimes
