John Startin, employee of U-Save Rentals, reported Wednesday the $5,000 theft of a rental car that was never returned.

Jean Aharonian, employee of Albertsons, reported Wednesday the return of a $519 forged check taken at the business at 220 Ironwood Drive.

Dennis Gutzman, salesman for D-M Auto Sales, reported Wednesday the $800 theft of stereos from three cars on the lot at 105 Walnut Ave.

Vallant Stephens, Pinecrest Hospital director, reported Wednesday the $800 theft of cash from his car parked in the lot at 2301 Ironwood Place.

Bill Davis, service manager for Ponderosa Motors, reported Wednesday $3,500 damage to the windows of a car being serviced at the lot, 1902 Fourth St.

Tim Elder, inventory manager of Lake City Ford, reported Wednesday the $20,000 theft of a ‘95 Ford Probe from the company lot at 1508 Fourth St.

Thomas Nigh, supervisor of Worley Highway District, reported Tuesday the $2,775 theft of four radios, a fire extinguisher and first aid kits from the department lot at 5805 Kidd Island Bay Road.

Henry Parks, Spokane, reported Wednesday the $1,000 theft of a trailer from his property on Indian Cemetery Road near Worley.

Ann Benson, Hayden, reported Wednesday the $619 theft of a gas generator from her garage in the 11200 block of Government Way.

William Cleveland, Rathdrum, reported Wednesday the $998 theft of a rifle, compact discs and stereo equipment from his residence in the 6300 block of Nelson Loop Road.
