Dangerous Animals Regulated
Bannock County has a new ordinance requiring anyone who wants to raise or harbor dangerous animals to go before a new board to justify it.
The County Commission on Thursday gave final approval to the ordinance. It goes into effect as soon as legal publishing requirements are met.
The new regulation comes three months after 19 African lions were shot to death after some of them escaped from Ligertown, a ramshackle collections of cages and fences near Lava Hot Springs.
