Post Falls Grad Michelle Schultz Named Big Sky Player Of The Week

“Shoeless” Michelle Schultz was named the Big Sky Conference women’s basketball player of the week after scoring 26 points in Boise State’s 64-47 win over Idaho State on Friday.

Schultz, a Post Falls High graduate, accidentally packed two left shoes for the road trip to Pocatello.

A BSU teammate’s mother bailed out Schultz by retrieving her right shoe from her BSU Pavilion locker and bringing it to Pocatello a couple hours before game time.

Schultz, who shared the honor with Montana State’s Brooke Svendsen, also had six rebounds, four assists and three steals.
