Tribes Join Fisheries Enforcement Group

Last month, the Western and Northwestern Associations of Fish and Game Law Enforcement Officers installed the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fisheries Enforcement as a new member at their annual meeting in Seattle.

The move marked a change in relations between the tribes and the states, after decades of friction over jurisdiction.
