Build A Birdhouse For Sas

The Spokane Art School will have an auction of birdhouses next month - but first, it needs artists to create said birdhouses or any bird amenities to auction off.

The art may be a birdhouse, birdfeeder, birdbath, bird jewelry, art designed for a garden: tiles, fountains, chimneys - you get the idea.

And, this year, another possibility has been added: teapots.

Inventiveness, originality, creativity and fun are encouraged in all the works.

The second-annual Birdhouse and TeaGarden Auction will be Earth Day, April 22.

“Since this is a much-needed fundraiser, the art school requests the artist donate between 50 and 100 percent of the proceeds raised from the sale,” said Maureen Davidson, spokeswoman.

For more information, contact Davidson at the school, N920 Howard, Spokane, WA 99201, or call 328-0900.
