West Valley 79, Colville 63 Greg Jones had 26 points and David Schillinger added 23 as the Eagles (3-0, 10-2) made 17 of 19 free throws in the final 4 minutes at WV.

The Eagles led by only five at halftime before scoring 46 second-half points. Brian Lindley and Joe Bonner each scored 13 for WV and Bonner had 11 rebounds. Colville’s Matt Smith scored 25 points as his team dropped to 1-2, 5-7.

Cheney 44, Clarkston 36 Richard DeMulling and Mario Chodorowski combined for all but nine of Cheney’s points at Clarkston, where the Bantams made only one fourth-period basket in 11 attempts.

Clarkston (1-2, 1-9) led 33-25 after three periods, but the Blackhawks (2-1, 2-8) went on a 19-3 fourth-quarter run that included 10 points by Chodorowski, who finished with 17. DeMulling had 18. Josh Martin had 10 to lead Clarkston.

Tim Wang scored 20 and Ray Kallaher 18 to lead the Greyhounds. Aaron Wilkinson and Cory Huston led EV with 14 each.

Colville 60, West Valley 57 West Valley (2-1, 5-7) led by two points at halftime, but scored only nine points in the third period to fall behind by seven.

Colville’s Heather Wood hit a 3-pointer with 4 minutes left to put the Indians up by nine, but the Eagles had a chance to tie at the finish.

Chris Brozik and Kristi Kuh scored 17 each for Colville. Dawn Salfer and Anica Nelson led WV with 12 each and Colleen Lawler had 11 rebounds.

Pullman 60, East Valley 47 The Greyhounds (1-2, 5-6) survived a six-point third period, outscoring the Knights (0-3, 1-9) 21-10 in the fourth to rally to victory.

Melissa Schlettert led Pullman with 19 points, including 9 of 10 free throws. Star Olson led EV with 15 points. The Knights lost starting point guard Linsay Porter to an injury during warmups.

Cheney 58, Clarkston 41 The undefeated Blackhawks (3-0, 11-0) blew the Bantams away in the second half, taking advantage of 17 turnovers and held Clarkston (1-2, 3-9) to only 11 points.

Erin Soliday led the Hawks with 22 points, including two 3-pointers. Krissy Burt scored 17 points for Clarkston.
