Blazer Guard Investigated

Portland Trail Blazers guard James Robinson is under investigation by Coos Bay Police for the alleged sexual assault of a Coquille woman.

The police investigation was in its preliminary stage and no charges have been filed, according to a statement released by Police Chief H.M. Adams.

Police identified the suspect only as James Ray Robinson, 24, of Portland.
