Lottery Proposal

Pam Hiatt got a marriage proposal from David Letterman.

“Well let’s just run right out and get married,” Letterman said Friday after learning she would receive $3.1 million a year - after taxes - for 20 years. Hiatt won the $87 million Powerball jackpot last week in Boise.

She said, “OK.”

Hiatt spent some of her winnings on new cars for her family. After she finished listing off who got what, the star of Late Night wanted to know, “What’d ya get Dave?”

“I thought we’d go shopping together,” Hiatt replied.
