Gaylord and Edith Jones, Newport, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at the Eagles hall, Newport.

Hosts for the event were their daughters and spouses: Dixie and Neil Carman, Thompson Falls, Mont.; and Bonnie and Randy Carstens, Newport.

Married June 10, 1945, in Davenport, Wash., the couple have two grandchildren.
