Reminders Issued About Fireworks
As residents prepare to celebrate the Fourth of July, authorities are sending out reminders that only safe and sane fireworks are legal in North Idaho cities and counties.
Safe and sane fireworks are those that do not explode or travel through the air. Firecrackers and bottle rockets are illegal.
Fireworks that must be bought out of state or on Indian reservations must be used in the state or on the reservation where they are purchased, according to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department.
