Usoc Selects Schultz

Compiled From Wire Services

Dick Schultz, who led a reform movement as head of the NCAA before being forced out amid charges he lied about a loan program for college athletes, was picked as executive director of the U.S. Olympic Committee.

Schultz, 65, fills a vacancy left almost a year ago when Harvey Schiller resigned to become president of Turner Sports in Atlanta.
