Boys semifinal bracket Cashmere 65, La Center 51 Brothers Adam and Jake Kerns combined for 40 points to lead fourth-ranked Cashmere over No. 8 La Center 65-51 Friday night in a state Class A boys high school basketball tournament semifinal game at the Tacamo Dome.
Adam, a 6-foot-2 senior, had 25 points and 12 rebounds and Jake, a 6-4 freshman, had 15 points. Adam connected on 9 of 10 free-throw attempts.
The Bulldogs (21-4) will play Medical Lake (20-5) in tonight’s championship game at 8. Cashmere will be going for its sixth state title. It won championships in 1972, 1975, 1977, 1980 and 1986.
