Vandal Shoots Holes In Vehicle Windows

Coeur d’Alene police say someone spent a recent evening blasting car and truck windows with a pellet gun.

Nine residents living in the vicinity of the Coeur d’Alene public golf course reported Friday that someone had shot holes in their vehicle windows, said Coeur d’Alene Police Capt. Carl Bergh.

The damage appeared to have happened sometime late Thursday night or early Friday morning and seemed to be caused by a BB or pellet gun, Bergh said.

“When people do this type of damage it’s not unusual to see multiple reports,” Bergh said.

Police asked that anyone with information about the crimes call the department at 769-2320.
