Compiled From Wire Services

Former world champion driver Nigel Mansell will miss the first two races of the Formula One season because the cockpit of his new McLaren car is too small.

McLaren made the announcement saying Mansell could not achieve a comfortable driving position in the car. The team said a new chassis would be developed for Mansell and that another British driver, Mark Blundell, would replace him in the first two races.
