New Timber Plate Helps Reforestation

Associated Press

Another special plate has been added to the choices for Idaho motorists.

Gov. Phil Batt on Friday signed legislation creating a Timber License Plate.

It will cost an extra $25 and $10 of that will go to reforestation of state lands.

The state already has vanity plates and a nongame wildlife plate bearing the mountain bluebird.
