United Way Seeks Grant Applications

United Way of Kootenai County is inviting grant applications from health and human services charities for 1996.

To be eligible for funding, an agency must be incorporated and have a federal income tax exempt number. It must also be located in and or serve people in Kootenai County.

A citizen board helps screen and select the agencies funded by United Way.

The local United Way’s last campaign rased $450,000 for 28 charities.
