Lopez Strikes Back

Nancy Lopez, who has watched the tape of her 1981 Dinah Shore victory over and over, hopes to have a 1995 version to view.

Lopez shot a 4-under-par 68 to move within two shots of leader Tammie Green after three rounds of The Dinah Shore, the first of the LPGA’s majors. Green shot a 70 to go to 5-under.

Laura Davies, coming off a win at Phoenix last weekend, also shot 70 to remain three shots off the pace.

Lopez, the LPGA Hall of Famer who has won 47 titles, hasn’t won in a year and a half.
