Cda, Silver Valley Have Levy Elections
Residents in Coeur d’Alene and the Silver Valley have supplemental levy elections today.
In Coeur d’Alene, school officials are seeking approval of a two-year $2.97 million per year levy that will pay for a variety of programs in the district.
Kellogg Joint School District is seeking $689,000 in a one-year levy. Wallace School District needs a two-year, $675,000 per year levy, school officials say.
The polls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Coeur d’Alene. Polling places are North Idaho College Student Union Building, Kootenai Medical Center and all Coeur d’Alene schools, except Project CDA.
Kellogg and Wallace polls are open from noon to 7 p.m. Kellogg polling places are Sunnyside Elementary, Pinehurst Elementary, Smelterville City Hall and Canyon Elementary.
In the Wallace School District, Wallace Intermediate School, Osburn Primary School, Silverwood Good Samaritan Center in Silverton and the Prichard Fire Hall will serve as polling places.
Residents who are not registered to vote may do so at the polls if they bring proof of residency.
