NWC’s Del Dryden started a double play in the bottom of the eighth to halt the Mustangs’ final scoring threat.

At NWC, Aaron Day’s homer lifted Northport past Ritzville 3-2.

ACH and Ritzville were eliminated.

NEB baseball resumes Monday when Curlew plays Reardan at West Valley for the league’s No. 1 berth to the state tournament.

NWC is scheduled to face Davenport, also at WV, for the NEB’s third seed to state. Northport will meet St. George’s in a loserout contest at East Valley.
