Compiled From Wire Services

Alabama center Antonio McDyess said he will give up his final two years of college eligibility to enter the June 28 NBA draft.

McDyess, a 6-foot-9, 220-pound sophomore, averaged 12.5 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game during the regular season.

He is expected to be one of the top 10 picks in the NBA draft.

Rashard Griffith has scheduled a news conference for today, apparently to announce he is skipping his junior and senior years at Wisconsin to participate in the draft.

A Los Angeles woman who claims she was granted exclusive rights to use the physical and vocal likeness of NBA players in animation form 10 years ago has sued the league and players’ union.

Patricia Bohanon, president of a TV and motion picture company, is asking for $100 million for 17 causes of action, including fraud and breach of contract, said her attorney, Monday Abengowe.
