Veterans Day Closures

The following offices and services will be closed to observe Veterans Day on Friday:

All Coeur d’Alene City and Kootenai County Offices will be closed.

The majority of area Post Offices will have regular business hours on Friday, but will be closed Saturday.

Public schools will not be closed for Veteran’s Day, but grades K-5 in Coeur d’Alene District No. 271 will not be in session on Thursday and Friday due to parent/teacher conferences. Grades K-12 in Lakeland District No. 272 will have a 1:30 early release on Thursday and no school on Friday.

Several banks will be closed Friday. Most recommend calling branches for specific information.

Garbage pickup will continue as scheduled Friday.

Liquor stores will not be closed.
