Free Dinners
There are turkey and trimmings for everyone in the Panhandle in the coming week thanks to churches, soup kitchens and many generous people.
Athol City Hall will serve a turkey dinner from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday. The meal is free.
Post Falls Baptist Church is offering turkey dinners from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at 1608 N. Spokane St. The meal is free.
Coeur d’Alene’s Ecumenical Food Kitchen will serve a ham dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church, 521 Lakeside Ave.
Sandpoint’s Rainbow Kitchen will serve a Thanksgiving feast 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Gardenia Center, 400 Church St.
The meal is free.
Osburn’s Homestead Cafe, 713 Mullan, will serve turkey and everything that goes with it noon to 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
Owners Paula and Raymond Glasgow have asked that only the needy attend.
Ponderay’s Bonner Gospel Mission on Triangle Drive is offering turkey dinners on Thanksgiving to the homeless only.
Supplies are limited.
The Three Mile Cafe, just north of Bonners Ferry on U.S. Highway 95, will serve a turkey feast 11 a.m. to 1:30 on Thanksgiving to anyone who’s hungry.
The meal is free.
Idaho Ruby’s, 206 N. Fourth St. in Coeur d’Alene, will serve Thanksgiving dinner 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to anyone who needs food or companionship on the holiday. The meal is free, but donations are welcome.
