Cities Receive Share Of Reebok Funds
Coeur d’Alene and Sandpoint each got some help Tuesday in improving their sporting facilities.
The attorney general’s office presented a $4,011 check to the city of Coeur d’Alene for refurbishing city basketball courts.
Sandpoint received $4,011 earmarked to help build a batting cage.
The money comes from a settlement with the Reebok Corp., in which $8 million was divided among all 50 states. Idaho’s share was $32,093.
Coeur d’Alene and Sandpoint are among eight Idaho cities to receive checks from the settlement by the national footwear manufacturer for price fixing.
