Legion Post Offers Thanksgiving Dinner
Free Thanksgiving dinner will be offered by the Post Falls American Legion Post No. 143 for the 12th year in a row.
Dinner will be served to anyone hungry on Thanksgiving from 11:30-3 p.m.
The club is anticipating serving 150-350 people and will have 10 different dressings, each made by Auxiliary members, 17 turkeys and hams, 200 pounds of potatoes and numerous other dishes and desserts.
The Legion Post is located at N. 640 Highway 41, Post Falls, and can be easily recognized by the M-60 Army tank on the front lawn.
The dinner is sponsored by the Post and is made possible by donations and volunteers. The club also sponsors a soup and sandwich meal every weekday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., serving an average of 550 to 600 people monthly.
