Students Statewide Get Day Off Today

Students will have the day off across the state today as teachers participate in curriculum and in-service day.

In Post Falls, elementary teachers will be working with a health specialist on their new health textbooks and materials. Secondary teachers will be working on a long-range facilities plan and instruction. Other staff members will be trained in first-aid procedures.

In Coeur d’Alene, teachers have a number of workshops to choose from. Topics such as discipline, teaching strategies and school-to-work programs will be covered. , DataTimes
