Jordan, Rodman Combine For Bulls
Michael Jordan scored 18 points in his first exhibition game since 1992 and a spirited Dennis Rodman added 10 rebounds in his Bulls debut as Chicago opened the preseason Friday with a 110-85 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Rodman, acquired Oct. 2 from San Antonio, was greeted by loud cheers when introduced at the Peoria Civic Center. The only louder reception was for Jordan.
Sporting bright red hair with a black Bulls symbol at the crown, Rodman exchanged shoves with Charles Claxton, protested some officiating calls, pointed to the crowd when he made his only basket, and touched fists with Jordan after a pass led to Rodman foul shots.
