Religion Section Needs Speical Input

With the holiday season just around the corner, we’re planning our annual Thanksgiving day special section of religious activities. We need your help - and fast.

Churches, synagogues and other religious organizations, please send us your list of special events that will occur from Thanksgiving Day through New Year’s Day. Tell us the name of the event, date, time, place, cost of tickets (if any), a phone number for the public to call, and any other important information.

This year, we’d also like to hear from readers who want to share special prayers of thanks. In 100 words or less, please tell us what you’re grateful for this year, or throughout your life: a person, relationship, meaningful event, anything.

It does seem a bit early to think about all this, but time flies when you’ve got early deadlines. And this deadline is early - noon on Nov. 1.

Since Thanksgiving is early this year, our production schedule is early, too.
