Obituaries

George Hough Wallace

Service for George W. Hough, 88, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Chapel.

Burial will follow at the Osburn Cemetery in Osburn. Shoshone Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hough, a lifetime Wallace resident, died Wednesday.

He grew up and was educated in Wallace and had worked as a fireman and assistant fire chief of Wallace for 35 years.

He married Lena Albertini in 1942.

He was an avid bowler who had bowled for over 60 years.

Mr. Hough was a member of the Wallace Elks, the Eagles and the Wallace Men’s Bowling Association.

Survivors include his wife, at home; one sister, Viola Mitchell of Silverton; and a nephew, Robert Mitchell of Sedro Woolley, Wash.

Beulah Williams Post Falls

Service for Beulah I. “Bee” Williams, 85, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home in Lewiston. Burial will follow at Normal Hill Cemetery in Lewiston. Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Williams, who was born in Peck, Idaho, died Wednesday of congestive heart failure.

She grew up in Peck and moved to Lewiston in 1926 to marry James Luffman. They lived in several cities in the Inland Northwest and settled in Spokane in 1944. They divorced in 1968.

She had worked as a clerk at the Sears and Newberry’s Department Stores in Spokane.

She married Bill Williams Sr. in 1968 and they moved to Post Falls in 1982.

She enjoyed traveling, dancing and baseball.

Survivors include her husband, at home; two daughters, Beverly Payne of Clarkston, Wash., and Bernadean Lucas of Spokane; one stepson, Bill Williams Jr. of Spokane; one stepdaughter, Marlene Burford of San Jose, Calif.; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
