Judge Orders ‘Nerd’ To Abstain From Computer
A man described by his lawyer as “your basic computer nerd” was sentenced Thursday to five years without a PC for making fake immigration documents on a state computer while working at the Texas Department of Health.
A judge ordered that 26-year-old Luis Hector Sandi “shall not purchase, possess or utilize a personal computer with desktop publishing capabilities.”
Sandi agreed to sell or give away his home computer equipment and buy no new hardware.
