Wwp To Begin Lake Drawdown
Washington Water Power will begin its annual drawdown of Lake Coeur d’Alene on Monday.
The company expects to drop the lake six feet, from its normal summer elevation of 2,128 feet to 2,122 feet by the end of December. The water level is controlled at Post Falls Dam on the Spokane River.
The water will drop 1.5 feet per month, said Gary Stockinger, WWP hydro operations engineer.
