Greyhound Park Adds Belmont To Its Horse Racing Simulcast

Greyhound Park has added another link in its chain of horse racing simulcasts. Beginning Saturday, racing programs from Belmont Park will be added to the dog track’s lineup of horse racing.

Belmont’s meeting runs through Oct. 29. The highlight is the Oct. 28 Breeders Cup.

On that day horse players at Post Falls will participate in the huge Breeders Cup wagering pools at the host track.

Racing from Belmont goes every day but Tuesday. Post time is 10 a.m., Greyhound Park publicist Charlie Fenwick said.

When the Belmont meeting ends, the Post Falls track will take races from New York’s Aquaduct on Nov. 1 beginning at 9:30 a.m.

In dog racing the trifecta-superfecta carryover pool is $69,860 heading into tonight’s card. First post at Greyhound Park is 7 o’clock.

In the tri-super, gamblers who pick the first three finishers in the 10th get the opportunity to pick the first four finishers in order in the 11th.

At Playfair Race Course, the 2-year-olds run their first stakes race of the season, the $5,000-added Kindergarten Stakes on Saturday.

Saturday’s card includes nine live races plus simulcast wagering on the Woodward Stakes from Belmont.
