Sirti Promotes Pair To Full-Time Posts

From Staff And Wire Reports

Two directors of Spokane’s Intercollegiate Research and Technology Institute have been promoted from interim to full appointments.

Lyle Anderson and Terry Novak had been sharing director duties since last year; they originally agreed to serve until a full-time director was hired.

Members of the board overseeing SIRTI decided Wednesday to hire both men as ongoing administrators.

Anderson, formerly director of the Small Business Development Center at WSU, will be SIRTI’s director.

Novak, former Spokane city manager and an administrator and faculty member at Eastern Washington University, is director of the Joint Center for Higher Education.

Both men will earn $94,000 per year. , DataTimes
