Want A Peek At Bill Gates New Home?

Associated Press

Microsoft founder Bill Gates might

want to pull down the shades when his new $50 million mansion is ready.

A local public relations firm is trying to generate interest in its Internet home page with a photographic progress report on the construction of the billionaire’s new home.

New color pictures of the estate on Lake Washington are promised every two weeks by Kirkland, Wash.-based MorseMcFadden Communications on its Walls 96 home page.

The page debuted Monday on the World Wide Web with four photos of the 40,000-square-foot project.

“So you’re wondering where that $89 you spent for Windows 95 went?” reads a MorseMcFadden blurb. “Since you’re paying for it, we thought it cordial to allow you to visit every week or two.”

The photos were taken from a speed boat.
