Charges Filed In Death Of Kellogg Man
A Moses Lake man was charged Friday with second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of his father-in-law.
Ronnie L. Fredrick, 25, was arrested by Grant County sheriff’s deputies Thursday for investigation of murder in the Monday shooting death of James Lange.
Fredrick, an unemployed mechanic, made a preliminary appearance Friday in Grant County Superior Court. His bail was set at $100,000.
Lange, 44, Kellogg, Idaho, died of a single gunshot wound to the head. He had been staying in his motor home, parked outside Fredrick’s home, Detective Dave Matney said.
Court documents indicate that Fredrick and Lange’s daughter were separated, and that she was not staying in the family home. The documents allege that Fredrick had threatened to kill her and her family if she did not return to him.
