Old Inn All New

Hagadone Hospitality reopened the former Holiday Inn on Appleway as the Coeur d’Alene Inn Thursday, sporting fancy new convention space, a new swimming pool and renovated guest rooms.

An open house attracted hundreds as Duane Hagadone of Hagadone Hospitality greeted visitors. Hagadone touts the renovated facility as the second largest convention facility in the county, second only to The Coeur d’Alene Resort downtown, which is also expanding its convention space.

Bob Templin of Templin’s Resort in Post Falls quietly disputed the contention that the new Coeur d’Alene Inn had more convention space than his 10-year-old facility, though he said he hadn’t measured his square footage for an exact estimate.
