Ann-Margret Releases Rca Album

The Hollywood Reporter

Following the box office success of “Grumpier Old Men” and a well-received performance in NBC’s “Seduced by Madness: The Diane Borchardt Story,” Ann-Margret is marking her 25th year in show business with the release of a 21-title compilation album from RCA that includes “The Lady Loves Me,” a duet with Elvis Presley from “Viva Las Vegas,” and “Bye Bye Birdie.”

The Academy Award-nominated actress has also begun work on the CBS TV movie “Blue Rodeo,” playing a beleaguered mother who moves out to a remote ranch with her 18-year-old son in an effort to curb his rebellious ways. The movie features Kris Kristofferson as Ann-Margret’s love interest.

The actress is also set to appear in “Grumpiest Old Men,” the second sequel to the “Grumpy Old Men” hit, opposite Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon. “Grumpiest Old Men” is expected to begin filming next year.

‘Love Boat’ movie in offing

“The Love Boat” is about to get out of dry dock. Long tethered by script problems and legal quarrels, the film version of the long-running television series appears ready to set sail under the Walt Disney banner.

Currently there is no director attached to the project and though no cast is yet in place, it is possible some of the original cast members of the TV series may play cameo roles.
