Noted Artist To Exhibit Work

Harrison artist George Carlson will exhibit his serigraphs for the first time in the Northwest from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Hayden Lake Country Club.

Carlson is a painter and sculptor who has received awards from the National Academy of Western Art. He has exhibited his work at the Smithsonian Institute’s Natural History Museum, the National Cowboy Hall of Fame and a museum in Tokyo.

He recently received the 1996 Idaho Commission on the Arts Governor’s Award for excellence in the arts. Sunday’s exhibit is open to the public. , DataTimes
