University of Idaho junior quarterback Brian Brennan is expected to miss at least four weeks following arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder Tuesday.

“The best case scenario is that he will be back in four to six weeks,” Vandals coach Chris Tormey said.

No additional damage was found during the operation. Brennan missed all of spring practice after having surgery in December.

Brennan set an Idaho freshman record by throwing for 1,766 yards and 18 touchdowns in 1994.
