Sandpoint High School linebacker Ryan Knowles has orally committed to attend the University of Idaho and play football.

Knowles was named first team All-State last weekend. He was also co-defensive player of the year in the Inland Empire League.

Knowles picked Idaho over a handful of schools, including Boise State.

NIC women cancel game

The North Idaho College-Western Montana women’s basketball game scheduled for Monday night was canceled.

Both coaches agreed to the cancellation.

NIC visits Community Colleges of Spokane tonight at 5:30 for a doubleheader with the CCS men, who play Fraser Valley at 8.
