Hints From Heloise
Dear Heloise: For years, I used an artificial Christmas tree, as I knew I was allergic to cedar. After giving my old tree away, I purchased a live tree last year. No problem. When I bought another live tree, I had allergies as a result. Then I read some information and thought I would send it along. It will be especially handy for people with allergies.
This holiday, if you decide to put up a live Christmas tree, you may to wash it off with a hose before you bring it in the house. This may help remove some of the pollen. Also, dust off all Christmas ornaments and decorations outside to help keep dust from flying around inside. Hoping these hints help you have a wonderful holiday! - A Texas Reader
It’s certainly worth a try, and thank you for writing to share this with others it may help. - Heloise
