Michael Dean reported Wednesday the return of an $800 check written to him.

Jamey Oertli reported Tuesday the $775 theft of two rifles and $180 damage to the window of his pickup truck while it was parked at Silver Lake Mall, 200 Hanley Ave.

Cara Keller reported Wednesday the $1,275 theft of 85 compact discs when she loaned them out and they were never returned.

Kootenai County sheriff

John Appleberg, owner of Car Tunes, reported Tuesday the $5,000 theft of stereo equipment and $50 damage to a door of the business at 3925 Prim Rose Lane.

Kevin Meeks, Hayden Lake, reported Wednesday the theft of a Honda four-wheeler from Elmira Road.

Lori Morris, Sandpoint, reported Wednesday the theft of a Panther snowmobile from Elmira Road.
