Fine Effort Leads Sasquatch Win
Dani Fine scored 14 points to lead the Community Colleges of Spokane women’s basketball team to a 62-43 win at Walla Walla.
The Sasquatch held the Warriors to 13 of 44 shooting from the field.
CCS’ last game of the regular season will be Wednesday against Columbia Basin in Spokane. With a win, the Sasquatch would qualify for the postseason.

Carlos Simmons scored 28 points as the visiting Cardinals (11-8, 9-5 NEA) downed the Bulldogs (5-15, 2-12).
Simmons was 10 of 18 from the floor and had four steals. Dan Huston added 13 rebounds and nine steals.
Medical Lake is tied with Freeman for third place in the NEA, so a coin flip will be held tonight. The winner will play No. 6 Deer Park, while the loser meets No. 5 Colfax in the NEA playoffs that begin Friday at Mead High School.
