Okanogan Man Named To WSU Board

Gov. Mike Lowry appointed an Okanogan man to fill a vacancy on the Washington State University Board of Regents.

Peter Goldmark, 49, will fill a seat left vacant by the expiration of Robert Crow’s term, Lowry announced Friday. Richard A. Davis, 60, of Spokane, was reappointed to the board.

Goldmark, who owns and operates Double J Ranch in Okanogan, earned a doctorate degree in molecular biology at the University of California, Berkeley. He also founded a biotechnology research laboratory in Okanogan.

Davis is president and chief executive officer of Pentzer Corp., a private investment company in Spokane. , DataTimes
