Kootenai County Democrats Set Caucus

The Kootenai County Democratic Party will meet March 5 to select delegates for the state Democratic convention and to discuss issues for the state platform.

An informal meeting on platform issues begins at 7 p.m. at Templin’s Resort in Post Falls. The delegate selection starts at 8 p.m., said Bob Brown, county Democratic Committee chairman.

The meeting is open to the public.

Any Democrat, qualified to vote in Kootenai County, can participate in delegate selection. The state convention is in June.
